{ A change... }

With three kids, a renovation project and the fall season upon us... I am busier than ever. I have been pondering just having one blog for some time now. I haven't been able to do two blogs well, so I have decided to do one in full force (hopefully!). So I have decided to take a sabbatical from this blog, Razz Pizazz Boutique. For how long? I am not sure?? But you can now find me at my other blog....

on more of a full-time basis!

Please change your links on your blog from the Razz Pizazz Boutique to Aged Vintage Papier. When you have done so, please post a comment or email me at agedvintagepapier@yahoo.com and I will add you also! (I will be adding a category stating {Blogs I Adore} soon!
Thank you for understanding! I hope that this will be a fun and rewarding transition for me!
Blessings,
Amy :-)

{ A new love, Delft Decor }

I have been a busy little worker along with my husband renovating a lake front property. And as all of us creative minds can agree... we need a vision and in our minds we skip right past the construction phase and envision the decor in tact! I have been and continue to collect pieces for our Lake front rendezvous. In my endeavor I am finding that my eye keeps travelling back to delft pieces that I found in flea markets, boutiques and department stores. Being that my color pallet will primarily be white and blue... Delft is a shoe in with it's classically traditional and vintage appeal. When I find something I adore I always want to know the history behind it... Below is a insert I found from http://www.squidoo.com

Old Delftware , was made as early as the 16th century. It was originally a low-fired earthenware, that was coated in a very thin opaque tin glaze with painted on blue or polychrome design. It was in the last half of the 19th century that the Delftware became commonly referred to as Delft.

It acquired its name from the Dutch village of the same name, where it was being widely produced.

Germany, England, and France potters also produced Delft, which can be distinguished not only by the difference in shape and design, but the fineness of the porcelain. In the early 18 century , the German potter Bottger, developed a formula for fine porcelain, at the same time England, Wedgewood began producing Creamware . Both more durable than the Dutch Delftware.

Does anyone share in this love? Do you know of any fabulous places to purchase it? Vintage and New?

I hope that everyone is fully enjoying their summer activities... I know I have and it is shows in my blogging, in the lack their of! I have yet to blog about my recent NYC shopping trip and some other happenings, and will do so, soon!!!

hugs to all!

{ Happily returning to Blog Land! }

Phew! Well, I knew I was taking a week off, but never expected to go as long as I did without blogging! I have been a busy, busy gal with my family, yard work, spring cleaning and an abundance of papier orders. I have made and am in the process of working on some changes both business wise and at my home! I have switched around some rooms, so I have a new studio now! YAY! I will post pics once the decor is complete... We are busy renovating a lake house, I previously posted about it here. I am also going to re-design my other blog, Aged Vintage Papier, to include give-aways along with features, and some other things I will reveal when I am ready! I have also decided to make the decision of closing my etsy shop. I LOVE etsy, but the work load that I had on top of custom orders, website orders and wholesale was getting a bit overwhelming. I want to take some time to perfect my products, packaging, photography and marketing strategies... I am ready to reach a new level, yet felt held back with trying to keep my head above water. I may not be off of etsy forever, yet I believe there is season for everything, I am excited for the future of my Le Papier Desserts (tm)!
Thank you everyone for leaving comments as I was away! I will try my hardest this week to visit everyone and say "hi!". Hope everyone is well and enjoying the weather!!
Below is a recent wedding favor tag I designed. This fabulous customer of mine is having a Shabby Chic Wedding! AHHH! If only could be an attendee, LOL! As you can imagine, I was in my glory being able to work with toile and of course PINK of all colors, tee hee!
Each tag is adorned with a gem and are tied with lush ivory seam binding ribbon.
Don't you love the Birdies! My dear friend Julie sent them to me as a gift... I am in LOVE with them, don't they look great in the photos? I may be using them more often! Thank you Julie, you are such a kind and giving person and a fabulous friend!
I have to make 160 of these, I better get back to work! LOL!
Much more toile papier will be coming to my boutique soon!
Have a wonderful Mother's Day to all of those Mommies and GrandMommies out there!
Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her:

So Blessed....

Two amazing ladies blessed me with this lovely award (a while back)... at a time where it was needed and appreciated to the fullest! Thank you Angie and Sherry for blessing me with you kinds words and friendship...

For those that are wondering, this is how the blessing candle is spread:

The idea…it’s a game of tag with a difference, rather than looking inwardly, we look outside ourselves and bless, praise and pray for 3 blog friends. By participating in this endeavour we not only make the recipient of the blessing feel valued and appreciated, but we are having some fun too. We’re going to see how far the bloggin’ blessings can travel around the world and how many people can be blessed! Recipients of a bloggin’ blessing may upload the above image to their sidebar if they choose to. If you receive a bloggin’ blessin’ please leave a comment on this thread here so that we can rejoice in just how many blessings have been sent around the world.
I will now pass this onto a few other ladies. These women have touched my heart in different ways either by a prayer, words of encouragement, compliments or for just being real to me and showing themselves as true friends and wonderful spirits! Thank you for your blessing upon my life... I am forever grateful!
Warmest Blessings always Gals!
Amy :)
